Parking arrangements at Hotel
Sultania require special consideration due to our prime location in the heart
of Istanbul’s historic Sultanahmet district. The Old City area, where our
hotel is situated, features narrow historic streets with limited parking
access, which is common for hotels in this central heritage zone. The hotel
does not have a dedicated on-site parking facility or garage directly
attached to the property.
However, we understand that some
guests may arrive by rental car or private vehicle, and we can assist in
arranging parking solutions. There are public parking facilities and paid
parking areas within walking distance of the hotel, and our front desk staff
can provide detailed directions to the nearest options and help coordinate

For
most guests visiting Istanbul, we actually recommend not renting a car for
exploring the Old City area. Hotel Sultania’s exceptional location means that
major attractions including Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Grand
Bazaar, and Spice Bazaar are all within comfortable walking distance. The
area is well-served by public transportation including trams and ferries, and
taxis are readily available when needed. Navigating Istanbul’s historic
streets by car can be challenging due to traffic congestion and complex
one-way systems. If you do need a vehicle for excursions outside the city
center, our concierge can arrange car rental services or private driver
services for day trips. For airport transfers, our pre-arranged private
transfer service is more convenient than self-driving and eliminates parking
concerns.
