Hotel Sultania is excellently
served by Istanbul’s efficient public transportation network, with multiple
options just steps from our entrance. The Sirkeci Tram Station, which is part
of the T1 tramway line, is located very close to the hotel – within easy
walking distance. This tramway is one of the most convenient ways to explore
Istanbul, connecting major tourist areas including Sultanahmet, Eminönü,
Karaköy, Kabataş, and extending to areas like
Zeytinburnu.
From the nearby tram stops, you can easily
reach Taksim Square (transfer to funicular or metro), cross the Golden Horn
to explore the Beyoğlu district and Galata Tower, or travel to the Grand
Bazaar area. The T1 line also provides connections to the M2 metro line and various
ferry terminals, giving you access to the Asian side of Istanbul and
Bosphorus cruises.
The Eminönü Ferry Terminal is
approximately 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel, offering ferry services
across the Bosphorus to the Asian side of Istanbul, as well as cruises along
the Bosphorus and to the Princes’ Islands. Multiple bus routes also serve the
Sirkeci and Eminönü areas, providing connections to all parts of the city.
For guests who prefer private transportation, taxis are readily available in
the area, and we can always arrange private car services through our
concierge. Our location in the historic peninsula means that many attractions
are within comfortable walking distance, reducing your reliance on public
transport altogether.
