At Hotel Sultania, we trust our
guests to treat the property with respect, and accidental damage is rare.
However, we understand that accidents can happen during any stay. If you
accidentally damage or stain any item in your room – such as linens, towels,
furnishings, fixtures, or electronic equipment – we ask that you please
notify the front desk or housekeeping immediately so we can assess and
address the situation promptly.
For minor accidental damage
such as a broken glass, a stained towel, or small spillage on carpeting,
these incidents are generally absorbed as normal wear and tear of hotel
operations, and you likely won’t be charged. However, significant damage
beyond normal use – such as damaged furniture, broken bathroom fixtures,
severely stained linens or carpets, damaged televisions or other equipment,
or missing items – may result in repair or replacement charges being applied
to your credit card on file.
Any charges for damages will
be fair and reasonable, reflecting the actual cost of repair or replacement
rather than punitive fees. You’ll be provided with an itemized explanation of
any damage charges before they are processed. We maintain a detailed
inventory of room items and their replacement costs, ensuring transparency in
the rare event that charges are necessary. Our rooms are equipped with
in-room safes for securing valuables, and we recommend using these facilities
to prevent loss or damage to your personal belongings. If you notice any
existing damage or missing items when you first enter your room, please
report it immediately to the front desk so it can be documented, preventing
any misunderstanding during checkout. Our housekeeping team maintains
impeccable standards, and rooms are thoroughly inspected between
guests.
